Brittany - art, nature and well-being

A river flows at the foot of the hill. And around the village, seas, sunken paths, natural meadows and hectares of forest. You are in La Gacilly, a picturesque village at the heart of Morbihan, Brittany. Nearby - Rochefort-en-Terre, a favourite village amongst the French... and on your path, the legendary Brocéliande forest and a display of beautiful Breton harbours which stretch from Vannes along the Morbihan gulf.

Visit BRITTANY

Nature, sea, culture, heritage or history? It would be difficult to choose: around La Gacilly, you can discover unmissable spots in Morbihan, such as the Carnac menhirs, Rochefort-en-Terre (the favourite French village in 2016!) or the wild Quiberon coast. Or would you prefer to venture into the Brocéliande forest...?

THEYVES ROCHER BOTANICAL GARDEN

Touch, look, feel and relax. The Yves Rocher Botanical Garden extends over more than two hectares above La Gacilly. It has three aims: to reinforce the link between Man and Nature, to protect biodiversity and to take us on a (sensory) journey to the home of Yves Rocher expertise.

THE LA GACILLY PHOTO FESTIVAL

During summer spent in the village of La Gacilly, the gardens, the alleyways and the walls of houses become photograph galleries dedicated to passing art. Each year from June to September, the largest open-air photo festival in France displays ethical and humanist photos, which showcase the work of the top international photographers. The La Gacilly Photo Festival hosts over 400,000 visitors for around thirty exhibitions.
