The Footbrige
The FOOTBRIDGE, is dedicated to the creative arts. Its mission is to surprise, astonish and enchant, perhaps even stimulate questions about the world around us .
Until the 31st of December, the exhibition "LES FILLES DE FER", pwill show the work of 7 female artists, each with her own style of working with metal .
A blending of techniques and materials which multiply the imagination they express :
- Metal covered in glazing
- embroidery on metal mesh
- lacy drawing in silver wire
- works in steel - stubborn, hard and cold- combined with leather or felt
- • A mix of classic and contemporary design of furniture and art objects
Exhibitions in 2012 on the theme "HUMAIN" (human).
The first exhibition from March 30th to September 30th entitled «APPARENCES» (appearances) will feature artists and designers who seek to liberate humans from their images of themselves, investigating the presence, the history, the mechanisms and folly of human beings .
A variety of sculpted and transformed materials (ceramics, resin, metal, glass …) creating persons, peoples, nomads, flight, sleep-walkers,.. Humans are depicted in their private moments, in their anatomy and their vessels, but also in their often poetic emotions .
