- All of the 29 rooms are coverd in grass rooves : in summer they keep out direct sunlight and in winter they limit heat loss. To promote thermal insulation, all the windows are equipped with double-glazing .
- The southwest exposure of the large bay windows permits the optimization of natural light. After sunset, energy-saving light bulbs astutely take over .
